The primary aim of the proposed research ist o take advantage of the unique spectral and temporal characteristics of RapidEye to develop a new procedure and algorithms for assessing phenological study in semi-arid environment. We will develop new algorithm in relation to the RapidEye spectral bands for REIP and LAI. The testside is located in different parts of the Neveg, Israel, with similar vegetation and climate differences.
