The projects aims to deploy the first cargo bike pilot in the city of Almaty, Kazachstan. The objectives are:
  • Identification of suitable cargo bikes and design of the first cargo bike pilot in Almaty
  • Evaluation of cargo bike transport vs. other means of transports in Almaty in terms of economic and ecological aspects
  • Conduction of tests with different public and logistcs partners
  • Create a digital platform for manage cargo bikes
  • Share knowledge about urban logistics solutions and planning principles in a workshop series
  • Encourage stakeholders to create new urban logistics systems
